Wegmans is another supermarket company that I am going to review for the same reason: it has pharmacy department so it is worth finding out if it’s worth using this pharmacy or better resort to another pharmacy. Wegmans Food Markets, Inc. is a privately held American regional supermarket chain which has its headquarters located in Gates, New York, which is a suburb of Rochester. It has been founded in 1916 and since then it has opened a total number of 95 locations. I’ve went on wemans.com official website and I analyzed the main page to find out that the clients of this company are able to sign up and then to sign in to their accounts. On the website you can find: stores, pharmacy, restaurants, pickup and delivery options. They have the departments which people can choose from as well as informational pages like meals and recipes, health and nutrition etc. I’ve also found out that they are offering coupons and in addition to that, this company can be found on social media pages such as Twitter, Facebook and other famous platforms. It is obvious that I have clicked on Pharmacy Department in order to find out more information specifically about this department. There I found out that you’re able to refill using rx number for store pickup. In addition to that they are claiming that you can get free home delivery, delivering your prescriptions directly to your mail box, for free, anywhere in the United States. Unfortunately there’s very little that I can say about all of these due to the fact that there’s very little information about all and each about these. There is no a list of medications as for online pharmacies were you can check the drug’s availability and prices for them. Instead you need to call to their customer care support and ask about the price and drug’s availability. This is a big and 100% legal pharmacy which means that selection of drug should be very big with a lot of drugs for all different needs so for ordering them online you need to fill your prescription and you’re going to be sent medications according to your prescription, but as any other big pharmacy in US, the prices are high! There’s not a single word mentioned about payment methods so I can’t say anything else here other than the fact that you, logically, can pay cash if you go to one of their stores. In terms of shipping, as I said, it is offered for free as the company claims, however they have shared that there are 2 options available, standard in 5 to 10 business days for free and express in 1 to 2 business days for 19 USD. For any questions you need to talk with their customer care department so you’re able to do it by calling their phone numbers, by going to one of their store in person or also by using their social media platforms. There is a mailing address to if you like the old fashioned way. I am not sure how easy/ hard it is to get in touch with these people but this is a big company so I doubt that it should be hard, however I am not sure how good they are at serving their customers.

I have mentioned in the beginning of my review that this company is offering coupon codes but as it was expected (because any other supermarket company is the same) they are only offering coupon codes for grocery/ food stores and not for pharmaceutical products. It is obvious that for getting a clearer image about the company and their attitude towards their clients I had to search for customer reviews and searching in google for: wegmans pharmacy reviews really helped me out. As usual I have also found some employee reviews about Wegmans company but I am not really interested in them and that’s why I excluded the reviews I found on indeed and glassdoor websites. However the reviews on consumeraffairs and yelp presented more of an interest to me. Strange was that I haven’t found way too much customer reviews, on yelp.com it had only 16 reviews, and on consumer affairs 44 reviews. However on both sites it had a rate of 4 out of 5. There were also other sites with some reviews but those had even less reviews. I’ve read through them and I have noticed that most are positive, rating it with 5 out of 5, while only few rating it with 3 and less. This means that most of the people are satisfied about this company’s services, however there are still some people who were not happy as they complained, mostly, on the rude staff or on delayed responses/ refills. There are people like Patrick M on yelp who said that this is the only place where he and his entire family shops. He says that they are mostly used to purchase bakery products. Many others seems to be happy as well with: quality products, excellent customer service and so on and so forth.
Conclusion
Most of the people purchasing here seem to be happy about the Wegmans Pharmacy services and that’s a very big plus for this company’s reputation. However there are still 2 problems which still make me search further for online pharmacies: that’s the fact that there’s still quite a good number of negative customer reviews and the prices for medications which are way higher than at online pharmacies. because there are 2 minuses in my opinion I rate it with 3 out of 5!
