Walmart.com is the site of the famous company Walmart which is an American multinational retail corporation that is operating a chain of hypermarkets, discount department stores and grocery stores. Or at least this is the information according to Wikipedia page. Also according to the information on the Wikipedia, the headquarters of Walmart is located in Bentonville, AR and its founder is Sam Walton. An interesting fact according to Wikipedia page is that Wal Mart Stores is the largest private employer in the United States (2,300,000 employees) and that’s a good number. The reason why I am currently reviewing this company is because Walmart also has their pharmacy stores with the site found walmart.com/cp/pharmacy/5431 and since this is a pharmacy it is worth reviewing. Only due to the fact that they are not scammers (which is obvious that this cannot be a fake/ scam pharmacy unlike many other online pharmacies that I have reviewed so far) it doesn’t mean that the pharmacy is perfect as I’m always saying this and that’s due to the fact that there are a number of other things to take in consideration, like for example the prices, the customer care department, shipping options and so on and so forth. In my opinion an online pharmacy which is 100% reliable and it is providing the best prices is the best pharmacy but from as much as I have heard, Walmart isn’t *the best pharmacy* in terms of prices. But we’re going to see it later. For those who are interested in finding out more information about the company you can easily search in google for Walmart and you’re going to be given tons of information and I don’t want to copy/ paste that information here as it is worthless. Instead I would try to expose my opinion and notices about this pharmacy.
Selection of medications and prices on Walmart Pharmacy
Since this is a big company with a lot of pharmacies all over the US country, this pharmacy is having absolutely all drugs for all needs, nevertheless I’ve tried to see if that’s so on their website and when I search for drugs, I am not sure the reason why, but I am not shown any drugs except for OTC medications or some other things like Books, T Shirts and so on and so forth. With this being said, you can’t find the drugs that you’re looking for online (like for example I’ve searched for Viagra) but you need to go to their stores. The pharmacy is also having pet medications as well. Due to the fact that the website doesn’t show Viagra products, I had to search for prices for Viagra on google and I have found information implying that Walmart is pretty expensive, or at least it is expensive compared to prices for Viagra on other pharmacies. With this being said, the prices are extremely high compared to online pharmacies where you find very low prices for Viagra. So although selection of drugs is, I guess, extremely high, the prices are high too. The pharmacy requires a prescription for getting prescription medications.

Since this is a brick pharmacy, of course, you can go yourself at one of their local pharmacy stores and get the medications that you need yourself. However I’ve also searched for information on shipping on their website and here’s what I found: 2 day shipping, ship to home, free pickup + discount, free pickup, free pickup today. These are the shipping options available so as much as we can see, most of them are *pickup* methods. Unfortunately I couldn’t find any more information since this is not a traditional online pharmacy. As in terms of payment methods, you can pay cash if you go yourself to one of their brick stores to pick up medications. They are also accepting credit cards which is obvious, however if they are accepting any other payment methods I couldn’t find, you can use customer care department to find it out.

Unfortunately there is no online live chat function available on the website (there’s only live chat function with their BOT), nevertheless, there are a lot of ways to get in touch with their customer care department which is obvious for such a big company. You can stay connected with them via facebook, twitter, pinterest, Instagram and other social media. Plus to that, there are lots of phone numbers, emails, and ways to get in touch with them.

This online pharmacy does seem to have coupon codes and in addition to that, they are offering 3% back. They are offering a $ 35 Save when you open a Walmart credit card account and spend $ 35 on your first purchase. Plus to that, there are 3% saves if you purchase via their website, they are also offering to save 2% on murphy USA & Walmart gas and lastly you can save 1% everywhere and anywhere via your credit card.
Walmart Pharmacy Customer reviews
It is obvious that such a big company with so many pharmacy chains should have lots of customer reviews and it seems it does as I found reviews on lots of different websites, however there is a big problem: most of those customer reviews where negative. Although there were a big number of positive customer reviews, I could easily notice that most of those reviews where negative, unfortunately. Like for example on consumeraffairs.com there are 135 ratings from people and on average the rate is 2.5 out of 5 stars. according to mythreecents.com there are 51 reviews and the rate is 1.6 out of 5 about Walmart pharmacy. Most of the complaints where in regards to bad customer department or to rude personnel.
Conclusion
The fact that this is a 100% reliable pharmacy it is very important exactly as it is the fact that it has positive customer reviews, nevertheless most of the reviewers were negative and plus to that the prices for medications are pretty high here compared to other brick pharmacies and especially compared to other online pharmacies. For these reasons I rate it with 3 out of 5.
