PharmaDoctor.co.uk

It seems that the pharmacy that I have found while doing my reliable online pharmacy research is an pharmacy located in UK, or at least that’s the first impression I got by checking its name which is PharmaDoctor.co.uk and as much as we all know this ending usually means the pharmacy is UK based. I have tried to access their website when I have been showed the welcome message and before going further I had to choose am I either a healthcare professional or a customer (or patient). It seems there are some differences by choosing either one but I decided to check the pharmacy from the perspective of a customer and that’s what I’ve clicked on. There I noticed that besides this pharmacy offering medications to their customers, they are also having online doctor service where they are able to consult their customers, diagnose and then prescribe them the needed medications. They claim that the consultation with their GMC doctor is always free. I also noticed that they are offering their customers to either pick up their prescriptions or to have it posted from one of over 600 UK pharmacies. On their website, you can either login as a patient or as a pharmacist. According to the information there, PharmaDoctor is registered by Care Quality Commission, they offer brand drugs, next day delivery available, and they claim to be a fully legal registered pharmacy. You can follow the pharmacy’s activity on either Twitter or Google Plus and they claim to be owned and operated by FMC Marketing Limited and there’s the exact address given of this company located in Hampshire. According to copyright information, PharmaDoctor is operating since 2009. There’s the list of reasons as they claim as to *why to choose them*: reduced prices on repeat orders; money back guaranteed; cheapest consultation service; authentic service and treatments and information about their doctors (and there are details under each of these points). So far, the pharmacy does look good and reliable but there are other things to check as well.

PharmaDoctor.co.uk Selection of medications and prices

According to the list of *conditions and health care information* they are offering products that are categorized in: general (weight loss; acne; quit smoking), allergy management, travel (antimalarials); female only (contraceptives, period delay) and male only (erectile dysfunction, hair loss, premature ejaculation). As much as it seems, these are all the types of drugs that people can purchase from this online pharmacy and assuming there are anywhere like 5 different drugs in each category, I would say that the selection of medications is somewhere *moderate* or something like this. bad news is that I am not able to find out what are the prices on this online pharmacy because you need to *order treatment* before you can check the prices and to be honest, that’s not a very good move to my opinion as people might want to see the prices before they would order a treatment here. it is obvious that you need a prescription to order here, however you can start an online consultation with their doctors if you don’t have one and they might send you a prescription.

PharmaDoctor.co.uk Shipping and payment methods

There’s information on their website suggesting that they are offering international shipping but I can assume that they only ship to EU, whatever the case – I am not very sure. the delivery fees are not displayed because they claim that this greatly depends on what you order, where you order and what is the shipping method you choose. There are few shipping options including: recorded: UK 15 working days for delivery, special delivery UK 5 working days for delivery and 21 working days for international delivery. They also have next day delivery for an extra fee for orders placed Monday – Thursday. They accept the following credit cards – Switch, Master card, Visa, Maestro UK as well as American Express. You also may pay by postal order or by cheque if within the UK.

PharmaDoctor.co.uk Customer Support Service

As I usually say, getting in touch with an online pharmacy that is offering online doctor service shouldn’t be very hard. There’s information on their site suggesting that their UK customer service is only available in business hours. You can contact them via telephone or by email. The last method to get in touch is by writing them a mail at the exact address provided or maybe even paying them a visit.

PharmaDoctor.co.uk Coupon Codes

Except for coupon codes, I’m generally searching for whatever methods are available on the website to make people save some money if they decide to purchase here. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find anything being offered by this pharmacy, there are no coupon codes, no free pills or discounted drugs. In fact, not even a free shipping or something. Seemingly, this pharmacy should re think their marketing strategies.

PharmaDoctor.co.uk Reviews

Before checking the reviews I wanted to see if my theory that this pharmacy is all fully legal and authentic is true. Although this pharmacy does seem to be a registered UK pharmacy and Care Quality Commission, it still doesn’t seem to have a big trust rating given by other sites. Like for example, legitscript.com suggests the site has not met all the criteria required to be an approved internet pharmacy and plus to that, scamadviser.com says that a malware report has been detected for the site and therefore has a trust rate of 63 % suggesting it is a rarely visited website. Indeed, there does not seem to be very much customer reviews and that’s, to be honest, a little bit disappointing. Although I did managed to find a few positive reviews, that’s not quite enough.

Conclusion

I was expecting more from this online pharmacy as soon as I have entered it but in the end it seems that a good looking website doesn’t mean the pharmacy is worth using. It doesn’t offer a price list (but they confessed that the prices for medications might be slightly higher compared to those in brick and mortar pharmacies), it has no coupon codes or discounts or special offers, has low trust from scam warning engines and although has a few positive customer reviews, it is not a popular pharmacy. Pharmadoctor.co.uk, to my opinion, deserves 2 stars!
