How should you take this drug?

The tablets are taken without chewing, with water. Treatment must be started when the first symptoms of migraine appear, although this drug is effective at all stages of the disease.

The recommended initial dose for patients aged 18 to 65 years is 40 mg. You can take one more dose within 24 hours after taking the previous one, but not earlier than 2 hours after the first tablet.

It is not recommended to take the next dose if patients don’t feel any effect within the first two hours. If there is no adequate effect, 80 mg can be taken as the initial dose for the next migraine attack. The maximum daily dose is 160 mg. Dose adjustment is not required in case of impaired liver function (mild or moderate degree).
