Precautions: renal insufficiency (moderate and severe), elderly patients, combination therapy with sulfonylureas or insulin, patients with pancreatitis (high risk of pancreatitis).

Dosage and administration

Take this drug regardless of meals. The tablets should be swallowed whole (without being chewed or crushed).

Interaction with other drugs

Dexamethasone, carbamazepine, phenobarbital, rifampin, phenytoin may reduce the concentration of saxagliptin.
