Exelon (rivastigmine) contraindications

Exelon (rivastigmine) side effects

Exelon causes the following side effects: Infectious diseases: very rarely - urinary tract infection. Digestive system: nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhea, dyspepsia, abdominal pain, pancreatitis, mild bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract, gastric ulcer. Start the treatment with a dose of 1.5 mg 2 times a day, and then gradually increase to the maintenance dose. If treatment is interrupted for more than three days, start the therapy with the minimum daily dose (to reduce the risk of adverse events).
