What is Daivonex (calcipotriol)?

Contraindications for Daivonex (calcipotriol)

The drug is not used for the treatment of patients with hypersensitivity to the drug. It is not used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Daivonex (calcipotriol) cream should never be applied to your face. You must wash your hands thoroughly to avoid accidental contact of the product with the skin. The cream should not be applied to large areas of skin (exceeding 30% of the body surface).

Do not exceed the recommended dosage of calcipotriol. In case of overdose, patients may experience the following symptoms: fatigue, constipation, thirst, decreased muscle tone. You may need to stop using the drug in case of overdose.

Patients are advised to avoid excessive exposure to direct sunlight during treatment. Patients under the age of 18 years may use the cream only on small areas of the skin. Daivonex does not affect the patient's ability to drive safely.

Calcipotriol should not be used with salicylic acid solution.
