(Updated: November 30, -1)
Not so long ago I have been diagnosed with metastasized prostate cancer and since then my doctor is planning to put me on casodex. Today it is my 12th day while being on this medicine (I was told that I should be taking it on a period of 30 days) and so far so good. I was having only one side effect from it (at least until this moment, maybe later there would be some others but sincerely I doubt about it) it was fatigue, however, that fatigue lasted for only 5 days or so and then it disappeared and since that day until this moment – no other side effect. But, besides of the side effect there are my urinary symptoms (which includes, delayed start, dribbling, very weak stream as well as frequency and urgency) and all these urinary symptoms have greatly improved in this time that I am taking the drug. As I said, so far so good, this medication seems to do what it is supposed to do and without any additional problems so I am very happy about it. by the way, today I have got my first shot of a medicine that it is called Lupron (only 7.5 mg) and I hope so much that it would work the same way as casodex works. I guess that I would have to do another review in a couple of days/weeks about that medication. Regarding this one – I can recommend it!
