Very rarely, Altace can cause impotence, hypokalemia, pain in the chest, tachycardia, stomatitis, sleep disturbances, alopecia, muscle spasms, hyponatremia, pancreatitis.

Symptoms of overdose

Symptoms of overdose may include: myocardial infarction, angioedema, ischemic stroke, acute hypotension, thromboembolic complications. In this case patients should try dosage reduction, gastric lavage and symptomatic therapy.

Altace (ramipril) storage conditions

Like all antihypertensive drugs, Altace should be stored in a dry place, inaccessible to sunlight and children, at the optimal temperature from 15 to 25° C.
